Raghubir Yadav sent to judicial custody

The Bandra family court remanded actor TV and Bollywood actor Raghuvir Yadav into judicial custody till June 7. Yadav was arrested by police in Mumbai on Friday, for ignoring court summons in an alimony case lodged by his estranged wife, Purnima. Earlier, Purnima had filed a case seeking maintenance for herself and their 19-year-old son after their separation in 1996. According to Sumanagal Biradar, Purnima's advocate, they both got married in the year 1988 and were separated in 2002, following which Yadav was directed to pay Rs 20,000.
