Rahul Gandhi: Yes, I asked Jayanthi Natarajan to save tribals and environment

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, broke his silence four days after a senior Congress leader Jayanthi Natarajan questioned his leadership in her letter before resigning. In the letter addressed to party president, Sonia Gandhi, former Environment Minister Jayanthi Natarajan had alleged that she received "specific requests" from Rahul Gandhi's office on environmental clearances. Rahul Gandhi clarified that he had in fact asked her to protect the rights of tribals and save the environment and that will continue to do so.
