Section 144 imposed in Kudankulam ahead of protest

The Tirunelveli district administration has clamped prohibitory orders in a seven km radius around the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant in the wake of the announcement of People's Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE) to stage a demonstration and picket it, to protest against the commissioning of the nuclear plant.
