Security beefed up in Jharkhand to counter Maoist threat

The increasing number of police stations and frequent patrolling by the police to combat Maoists has brought a sense of relief and made the people of Palamu district in Jharkhand feel more secure. In the past six months authorities have opened up three OPs in the Palamu district alone especially in Pipara, Kishanpur, and Nava villages.
