In a significant development, Indian Kashmir's moderate political separatists, the All Parties Hurriyat (Freedom) Conference or APHC faction, on Thursday decided not to call for a boycott of India's national polls. After three days of deliberations in Srinagar, the forum, however, reiterated that the elections were no alternative to "the right to self-determination" but did not specifically called upon the people to keep away from the polls.
