Several women achievers get Kalpana Chawla Award

Veteran actress Sushma Seth and Miss India Vanya Mishra were amongst a host of others who were awarded the prestigious Kalpana Chawla Award for their contribution as women achievers. These awards are fondly organized by her family and given away by her father each year in her fond memory. Kalpana Chawla was an Indian-American astronaut with NASA. She was one of seven crew members killed in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
