Singapore FM meets Chidambaram, discuss bilateral issues

As a part of diplomatic courtesy, the visiting Singapore's Foreign Minister George Yeo called on Home Minister P Chidambaram, in New Delhi on Tuesday and maintained that the meeting was intended to cement ties between the two nations. In the meeting, Yeo and Chidambaram discussed a spectrum of bilateral issues to promote mutual interests and friendship. He had also met his Indian counterpart, SM Krishna and the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh during his stay in New Delhi.
