Street market to showcase traditional handicrafts

A new street market modeled along the lines of a village bazaar has caught the fancy of people in Kolkata. Held in city's New Market which is otherwise used as a pedestrian plaza, 'Kolkata Haat' is a one-stop hangout zone and a shopper's paradise as it brings together an array of traditional handicrafts and artifacts from the rural heartland of the country.
