Telangana Rally: Tension at Osmania University

Ahead of a massive pro-Telangana rally, in Hyderabad today the situation has become tense at Osmania University as police resorted to lathi-charge and firing tear gas-shells on the students for security breach. Minor stone pelting between students and security personnel have also been reported. A motorcycle rally began at Osmania University for which the police said no permission was given.
