The people in Sundernagar in Gujarat, are facing an acute water crisis these days, as the water supply is available for just one hour and that too in four days. Touted as the "Lifeline of Gujarat", the Narmada project supplies water to two of Gujarat's largest provinces Saurashtra and Kutch, through a 770-km pipeline. Though Sundernagar is enroute, residents blame the unequal distribution of water to heavy political interference.
