With soaring temperatures, and no monsoon in sight, locals of Jaipur and its outlying villages are complaining of water shortage and the hardships they have to bear to acquire the basic necessity for their daily needs. Meanwhile, the administration claims it is doing everything possible to meet the demands of the people, and added that water would be brought by train, if required. Water crisis is not a new phenomenon in Rajasthan as it receives very scanty rainfall.
