Advanced multicopter drones; Coast Guard surveillance capabilities boosted

India's marine surveillance capabilities are set to get a big boost with the induction of multi-copter drones. The Indian Coast Guard has concluded its maiden contract for 10 multicopter drones (VTOL) which is in consonance with the Indian government's policy of embracing drone technology. It will greatly boost the ICG's reach and help in surveillance and security operations.
