Le Pen rips Macron for Prioritizing Zelensky, dumping billions on Ukraine over France's own army

National Rally parliamentary leader Marine Le Pen launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu and President Emmanuel Macron in the French National Assembly, accusing the government of running a parliament “incapable of voting on a budget” and weakening France’s defence readiness. Le Pen urged fresh elections, claiming Macron is avoiding the voters despite political deadlock. She criticised NATO’s arms purchases for Ukraine, Europe’s stalled defence projects, and France’s growing reliance on foreign weaponry. Warning of depleted ammunition stocks and underfunded armed forces, Le Pen argued that France’s sovereignty is being undermined by decisions taken “in the corridors of Brussels.”
