Mayor Zohran Mamdani Takes Part In Indian Community's Navratri Celebrations In New York

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani joined members of the Indian and Hindu communities for a Garba performance during Navratri celebrations in New York. Dressed in a black suit and traditional dupatta, Mamdani participated in the festivities on the final night of the celebrations. Garba is a traditional folk dance originating in Gujarat and commonly performed during the nine-night festival honouring Goddess Durga.
