Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan says the Iran-centred regional crisis is worsening inflation and pushing up oil and diesel prices worldwide, including in the United States. He blamed Israel’s “schemes and provocations” for starting the conflict and accused Israel of sabotaging the Pakistan-mediated Islamabad Accord intended to ease U.S.–Iran tensions.
