Assam Govt drops Rajiv Gandhi name from National park, Congress hits back

Assam government dropped former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s name from the Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park. While CM Himanta Biswa Sarma claims it was done to honour the locals, Congress lashed out at his government. Congress leader Ranjdeep Surjewala said that at point Sarma used to consider Rajiv Gandhi his idol and credited his political career to him. Surjewala also said that the BJP only knows how to destroy things. Himanta Biswa Sarma claimed that no national park in Assam is named after a person and the Orang National Park too was named after Rajiv Gandhi only in 2005. Watch the full video for more details.
