'Don't need to hit major cities': Putin cites Hiroshima during chat with Macron

Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly referenced atomic bombings in Japan during a conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. A report in UK's Daily Mail says that Putin expressed his view that the bombings – which triggered the Japanese surrender and the end of the Second World War – demonstrated that ‘you don’t need to attack the major cities in order to win. Putin's comment is said to have 'alarmed' Macron who saw it as a major hint by the Russia president's intent on using a tactical nuclear weapon. Watch this video for more.
