'IMF giving tough time': Shehbaz vents as Pak Rupee plunges to historic low

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif says the IMF was giving the crisis-hit country a tough time over unlocking stalled funding from a $6.5 billion bailout. The IMF delegation is in Pakistan on the ninth review of a $7 billion loan programme. Shehbaz Sharif said the International Monetary Fund was giving its team a tough time during an unimaginable crisis. Pakistan's reserves have depleted to a critically low level of $3.09 billion as of January 27, which can only cover 18 days of imports.
