Imran Khan govt red-flags resumption of trade with India; rakes up Article 370

Pakistan's Cabinet rejected a proposal of the Economic Coordination Committee to import cotton and sugar from India. The decision of the cabinet, chaired by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, comes a day after Pakistan's new Finance Minister Hammad Azhar announced to lift a nearly-two year old ban on the import of cotton and sugar from India. Pakistan foreign minister said that ties with India cannot be normalized till India reverses its decision on the scrapping of Kashmir’s special status.
