Despite an economic and security crisis at home, Pakistan's Shehbaz Sharif government once again raked up the issue of Kashmir. Pak's Kashmir minister, Nawabzada Iftikhar, linked "regional peace" to the resolution of the Kashmir issue. Sharif's minister said Islamabad is "standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of Kashmir." The minister also lauded Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto for talking about Kashmir on global forums.
