Japan Calls India 'Indispensable' For Countering China; 'New Delhi Key For Free Indo-Pacific'

Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar met with his Japanese counterpart Yoshimasa Hayashi in New Delhi. They discussed a variety of subjects, including technology and defence. The two ministers discussed matters of regional and international importance, such as the Quad, the G20 and G7 presidencies, and the free, open, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
