Kabul to Delhi: 24-hr negotiation, IAF planes; how Indians were rescued

India evacuated its ambassador, diplomats and officials from Afghanistan as Taliban take over the country. The second batch of evacuees arrived in India on Tuesday with over 120 people onboard C-17 aircraft. The negotiations for evacuation reportedly took 24 hours. Indians, including the ambassador, landed in Gujarat on Tuesday. Ministry of External Affairs had announced the evacuation of India’s ambassador in Kabul and other officials.
