The Uttar Pradesh police has booked a government school principal and a teacher after a video of students reciting the famous Urdu poem "lab pe aati hai dua banke..." went viral on social media. VHP has objected to the poem, calling it a 'madrassa-type prayer'. They objected to a particular line of the prayer, "Mere Allah burai se bachana mujhko." VHP accused the principal and teacher of converting the students. The prayer in question was written by a famous Urdu poet Mohammad Iqbal in 1902. Watch this video to know more.
