Manipur CM "Quits" After Rioters Open Fire; Mob Forces Biren Singh to Tear Resignation Letter

Huge drama erupted outside Manipur CM N Biren Singh's residence in Imphal a day after armed rioters went berserk and killed three more people in the ethnic clashes. Hundreds of supporters surrounded his residence, blocked his convoy and forced him to not resign. A picture of Singh's torn resignation letter also went viral.
