Santokh Singh Chaudhary, a Congress MP from Jalandhar in Punjab, died of a heart attack this morning while participating in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The 76-year-old Chaudhary collapsed while walking alongside Rahul Gandhi, causing a commotion during the march. He was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Rahul Gandhi visited his family to offer condolences. Congress, meanwhile, suspended the yatra for the day.
