Calling the measures “proofs of failure,” the Congress leader accused the Prime Minister of shifting responsibility onto ordinary citizens instead of taking accountability for the situation. In a strongly worded statement, Rahul Gandhi mocked the government’s suggestions—including reducing petrol consumption, avoiding unnecessary foreign travel, cutting back on gold and cooking oil purchases, using public transport, and considering work from home options.
