Temple-like structure 'found under' Mangaluru mosque; Sec 144 imposed

After Gyanvapi mosque survey in Varanasi, Hindu groups are now demanding similar survey of Mangaluru's Malali mosque. VHP claims that Hindu temple-like architectural designs where found at the mosque during renovation work last month. The Hindu right-wing group leader also warned of a 'Ram Mandir-like campaign' to claim control over the alleged disputed side. This morning several VHP and Bajrang Dal leaders carried out a puja one kilometer away from the mosque. Following which the local authorities have imposed section 144 in the Mangaluru city till Thursday morning. Heavy police deployment is also in place around the mosque. Watch to know more.
