Ritzy yacht linked to Putin seized in Italy; estimated value a staggering $700MN

Italian officials froze the Scheherazade yacht - believed to be owned by Putin - in the port of Marina di Carrara. Italy's Finance Ministry cited the boat's owner's ties to 'prominent elements of the Russian govt'. The yacht been under probe since March for potential links to sanctioned Russians, including Putin. The yacht is said to be equipped with a spa, swimming pools, 2 helipads & a wood-burning fireplace. As per reports, the yacht has a pool table, designed to tilt, so as to reduce the impact of the waves.
