Russia’s Giant Tricolour Flies at North Pole on National Flag Day

Russia marked National Flag Day in a spectacular way as the crew of the nuclear-powered icebreaker 50 Years of Victory unfurled a giant 150-square-metre Russian tricolour at the North Pole. The striking Arctic display saw the flag waved against a backdrop of ice and the massive icebreaker.
