CPI(M) Rajya Sabha MP John Brittas and BJP MP Sushmita Dev were involved in a heated exchange in Parliament, with Brittas alleging that Dev repeatedly called him “Lungiwala” during proceedings.
Speaking about the incident, Brittas said Dev had approached him while he was moving a statutory resolution and accused her of disturbing him. He said he responded by calling her a “turncoat”, following which he alleged that she called him “Lungiwala”.
