Led by Rahul Gandhi, opposition pressed its demand for discussion on purchase of pegasus by govt. Leaders were potentially targeted by the Israeli firm NSO group's phone hacking software. "I want to know from the youth - Narendra Modi has sent a weapon in your phone. This weapon has been used against me, SC, many leaders, people in the press, activists. Then why should this issue not be discussed in the House?" the Gandhi scion said. Opposition has been forcing adjournments over demands including probe into alleged surveillance. Opposition parties have also been giving adjournment motion notices.
