Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić commented on reports surrounding an attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence, warning against the dangerous precedent of targeting national leaders. Stressing that Serbia has no confirmed intelligence on the incident, Vučić said solutions do not lie in strikes or assassinations, recalling that Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milošević was similarly targeted during NATO’s 1999 bombing campaign. He argued such actions follow a long-standing “playbook.”
