1983 world cup relived at Lords

Memories of the happiest day of Indian cricket were re-enacted at Lords cricket ground on Wednesday. Members of the Indian cricket team that lifted the world cup in 1983 celebrated the silver jubilee anniversary of their memorable win. All rounder Kapil Dev inspired his unfenced team to an unlikely 43-run win over the West Indies after a sensational batting collapse dashed Caribbean hopes for a title hat-trick.
