Dhoni steers India to victory against Bangladesh

MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik staged an unbeaten 107-run stand to steer India to a five-wicket victory over Bangladesh in their first one-dayer at Mirpur on Thursday. Chasing 251 runs for victory, Dhoni remained unbeaten on 91 and was named the Man of the Match even as Karthik was 58 not out as India romped home with six balls to spare. Openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir got off to a very promising start and led the Indian reply with a 35-run opening stand.
