Former Australian umpire Simon Taufel has put an end to the dead-ball debate that erupted during India vs Pakistan thriller. There was high drama in the last over of the T20 World Cup match, with India needing 16 off the last six balls. Virat Kohli got bowled off a free hit but then got three byes and Ravichandran Ashwin finished the game with a single. In a long post on LinkedIn, Simon Taufel wrote, "The ICC Playing condition is below. The umpire made the right decision in signalling Byes after the batters ran three following the ball hitting the stumps and rolling down to 3rd man." Watch this video for more.
