Obama on Fifa scandal: 'World football needs integrity'

US president Barack Obama has said the United States is keen on ensuring football is globally conducted in an upright manner, given the country is getting better and better at the sport. "It (football) is a source of incredible national pride and people want to make sure that it operates with integrity," he said at a press conference recently. Obama added at the recent G7 summit in Germany he had already spoken about the recent corruption scandal involving Fifa's top officials.
