Occasion makes century special: Strauss

England opener Andrew Strauss on Thursday posted a composed century before India's bowlers ran through the tourists' middle-order on day one of the first Test. Strauss termed his century as “very special”. Strauss scored 123, posting his 13th century in 55 Tests. After a confident start in which they reached a commanding 164 for one, the touring team lost four wickets for 65 runs in the final session.
