India's para-shuttler Suhas L Yathiraj won the silver medal at the Paralympic Games. Yathiraj lost to France’s Lucas Mazur in the final of the men's singles badminton SL4 event. Yathiraj lost to Mazur 21-15, 17-21, 15-21 in the final at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Modi congratulated him on winning the silver medal. The 38-year-old is the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida). Suhas also became the first-ever IAS officer to win a medal at the Paralympics. Watch the full video for more.
