Tokyo Olympics: Lovlina Borgohain secures 2nd medal for India, nation celebrates

Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain secured the second medal for India at the Tokyo Olympics as she advanced to the semi-finals of the women’s welterweight category. The 23-year-old boxer from Assam beat Chinese Taipei’s Chen Nein-Chin by a split decision. Lovlina will become the second Indian woman after the legendary Mary Kom to win the Olympic medal.
