Trump outlined three options: reaching a deal, allowing Iran to “rot economically,” or destroying the regime in Tehran. Iran, meanwhile, claimed it had intelligence of a possible new U.S. attack and warned of “painful” retaliation against American bases across the region. Washington also issued fresh security warnings over possible attacks, flight cancellations and airspace closures.
