U.S. ICBM test ends in disaster, just days after Hypersonic missile test failed

A test rocket carrying a component for a future U.S ICBM blew up after takeoff. MK21A re-entry vehicle test for ICBM failed: Explosion just 11 seconds post-launch. Just 10 days ago, a hypersonic missile failed in test (post-ignition problem). The June 30th hypersonic trial marked the second unsuccessful test flight of the prototype.
