‘U.S. stoking tension…’: China & Russia defend veto in UN over N. Korea sanction

China and Russia took an aim at the United States while defending their veto against U.S' strongly backed resolution, seeking tough new sanction against North Korea at UN General Assembly. In a first such meeting to discuss the veto, China and Russia blamed U.S. for being ignorant to North Korea's issues and stoking tensions in the Korean Peninsula. The North Korean ambassador cited articles in the UN chapter to defend its right to arm itself.
