India, along with a host of other countries has, put a ban on passenger flights from Britain where a mutated strain of Covid 19 is rapidly spreading. The mutation, which was first detected in the UK in September, is reportedly 70% more infectious and has now affected close to two-thirds of the Coronavirus patients in the country.
