Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US President Donald Trump that Israel and the United States had “a job to finish” in Iran during a video call. Netanyahu said the two countries would work together and warned against Iran obtaining nuclear weapons. The call came about a week before Israel’s election, in which Netanyahu was seeking re-election amid scrutiny of his leadership and the country’s conflicts, including the war involving Iran.
