Women celebrated the traditional ritual of ‘Sindoor Khela’ at a Durga Puja pandal in Sainthia, Birbhum, West Bengal, on the occasion of Bijoya Dashami. The vibrant ritual, observed on the final day of Durga Puja, sees married women apply vermilion to the idol of Goddess Durga and to one another, symbolising marital happiness, prosperity and the hope for a blessed year ahead.
