After Kabul attack, anti-Pak, Taliban protests by Afghan civilians

Afghan civilians have risen in anger against Pakistan and Taliban after insurgents launched major attacks in Kabul last evening. Hundreds of residents hit streets in Kabul and chanted slogans against Taliban terror and its sponsor Pakistan. Even Afghan First Vice President Amrullah Saleh took to streets and led one such protest in Kabul. The protesters were chanting 'Allah-u-Akbar' express solidarity with Afghan forces currently locked in fierce battles across the country with Taliban insurgents. Last evening, Taliban insurgents attacked the residence of acting Afghan defence minister in the capital city. The United States, which will complete its withdrawal on August 31, has condemned the attacks in Kabul.
