With the Islamic festival month of Ramzan just weeks away, Israel received a warning from its Arab neighbour regarding the war in Gaza. Jordan told Israel that if Israel continues its aggression during Ramzan, then the entire region might "explode". Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas also visited Jordan to confer with King Abdullah II about Israel's reported plan to restrict Palestinian visitors at Al Aqsa mosque during the fasting month.
