UN Women and Mexican officials have launched a project to tackle sexual violence against women in Mexico City's public transport system. They have attached a mould of a protruding penis on the metro seat to draw attention to sexual harassment which women face each day. The idea is to generate a culture of zero tolerance against sexual harassment. It is called the #NoEsDeHombres or #itsnotmanly project. 9 out of 10 women in the city have complained of harassment during their commute.
