Islamist shouting 'Allah-u-Akbar' fatally stabs policeman in Brussels

A Belgian police officer was killed in a knife attack in Brussels on November 10. The attacker shouted 'Allahu akbar' before stabbing the policeman. Prosecutors say that the attacker was on a list of potentially violent extremists. Earlier in the day the suspect walked into a police station in Brussels, making 'incoherent' statements about his hatred of the police. He was taken to a psychiatric unit for treatment but when police contacted the hospital later he had already left. He targeted two officers while they waited at a red light in a patrol vehicle. This is not the first time such an attack has taken place in Belgium. Between 2016 and 2018 Belgium saw several fatal Islamist terror attacks against the police or military. Watch this video for more.
