How Bangladesh's Padma Bridge will cut Kolkata-Dhaka distance by half

Bangladesh gets its new landmark - the Padma bridge. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the multipurpose engineering marvel on the mighty Padma river. Speaking on the occasion, Hasina said that the completion of the bridge is a dream come true for the 170 million people of Bangladesh. This is the longest bridge in Bangladesh connecting Dhaka with the Mongla seaport. It will also reduce the Kolkata-Dhaka train journey by half. Watch this video to know more.
